“Sustainable, alternative energy.”

Energy Farming Africa (“EFA”) has reviewed a number of projects for the production of biofuels and energy from large scale agricultural activities and has identified the following opportunities which are available immediately:

  • Production of biodiesel from sunflower plantation in Botswana.
  • Production of electricity from biomass in Botswana.
  • Production of biodiesel from the harvesting of existing large scale coconut plantations in Mozambique.
  • Production of electricity from biomass in Mozambique.

Those projects now require external capitalisation to enable their deployment.

EFA was formed by a group of experienced entrepreneurs and professionals to identify and develop commercially viable large scale agricultural opportunities in Sub Saharan Africa which would support the empowerment and enrichment of rural communities.

Vision and Mission

EFA vision is to create long term shareholder value and significant medium term cash flows by producing renewable energies from large scale agricultural activities. The project offers the opportunity to replace mineral fuels imports with sustainable energy sources generated locally without adversely affecting food security.

EFA mission is to produce and distribute biofuels and energy while empowering and enriching emerging farmers and the local community, reducing the dependence on imported crude oil, creating environmental awareness in the region and reducing the net emission of carbon dioxide.
